Managing Associate - International Tax and Transfer Pricing

BMR Legal Advocates is a boutique law firm founded in 2010 specializing in the areas of Corporate International Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST, Customs & Trade, with expertise in litigation services, controversy management, strategic transaction advisory, and policy.

Job Summary

The Managing/Principal Associate will be responsible for managing client engagements which will be a healthy mix of international tax, M&A, Transfer Pricing, and Litigation.

Role & Responsibilities

• Preparation of opinions, presentations, and proposals
  
• Researching and analyzing complex tax issues
  
• Leading briefings and preparing submissions/paper books at the appellate stage
  
• Advising clients on tax implications of business decisions
  
• Experience in Tax Litigation, Alternate Dispute Resolution, and Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) is a plus
  
• Strong understanding of Transfer Pricing and International Tax issues, with experience in advising multinational corporations and Indian business groups
  
• Interactions with Partners and briefing them on client requirements
  
• Manage the team

Requirements

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Corporate International Tax and Transfer Pricing with a reputed law firm or professional services firm
  

Skills

• Excellent communication and project management skills
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
  

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant / LL.B
