Manager/Sr. Manager Land Acquisition Solar Projects 8–15 Years – Uttar Pradesh

A leadership opportunity for an experienced land acquisition professional to manage end-to-end land procurement for utility-scale solar power projects across Uttar Pradesh. The role focuses on site identification, documentation, government liaison, negotiation, compliance, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

Responsibilities –

1. Identify, evaluate, and survey suitable land parcels for Solar PV projects; verify ownership and assess feasibility.
2. Prepare and manage documentation including possession, mutation, demarcation, land conversion, and verification of revenue records.
3. Liaise with government officials such as DM, ADM, SDM, Tehsildar, Registrar, Revenue Inspector, and Panchayat authorities for approvals, NOCs, and clearances.
4. Prepare land acquisition budgets; negotiate effectively with farmers, landowners, and other stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with legal, finance, and project development teams to resolve disputes, ensure compliance, support audits, and monitor project progress with regular reporting.

Requirements –

1. 8–15 years of experience in land acquisition for renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
2. Deep understanding of Uttar Pradesh land laws, revenue codes, and regulatory processes.
3. Strong legal drafting skills for agreements, deeds, registries, POAs, and statutory documents.
4. Proven negotiation abilities and stakeholder management experience.
5. Education: Graduate in Law / Commerce / Agriculture / Civil Engineering. Preferred –

   LLB / MBA (Rural or Land Management).
