As a Finance Specialist at Urban Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring revenue assurance and financial stability for the Product Business. Here is what you will be responsible for: - **Revenue Assurance**: - Reviewing the accuracy of reported revenue for the products business. - Determining the correct accounting treatment for new business transactions as per Ind AS. - **Monthly Closing and Audits**: - Ensuring timely monthly closing of books and preparing MIS/PnL for product business. - Collaborating with Big 4 Auditors for audit closure and assisting in International Audits related to the product business. - **Financial Statements**: - Preparing and reviewing financial statements specific to the products business. - **Analytics**: - Analyzing working capital requirements, inventory obsolescence, and receivables for the business. - **End-to-End Accounting**: - Responsible for comprehensive accounting of the product business for both India and International markets. - Managing accounting controls such as assets, liabilities, income, gains reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny. - **Automation**: - Driving automation in Oracle/Uniware for revenue and inventory in coordination with the Business and Tech Teams based on Finance requirements. **Qualifications Required**: - Excitement to build robust automated processes and drive outcomes. - CA with 4-6 years of experience in the FMCG/Product Industry. - Preference for candidates with Big 4 experience. - Strong experience in Ind-AS. - Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach. - Business acumen to grasp business requirements. - Basic knowledge of SQL will be advantageous.
