Job Description

As the Manager of Video Analytics Operation Support, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of video analytics systems within the organization. You will lead a team of technical support professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of video analytics software, and providing high-quality support to both internal and external stakeholders. Your role will be crucial in improving video analytics processes, tools, and techniques to meet the organization's evolving needs. To excel in this position, you must possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of video analytics technologies and their applications across various business contexts. Your key responsibilities will include: Team Management: - Leading and managing a team of video analytics support engineers and technicians. - Providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members. - Ensuring adequate staffing levels and resource allocation to meet operational demands. Operations And Maintenance: - Overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of video analytics systems and infrastructure. - Monitoring system performance, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions for high availability and reliability. - Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system operations and support. Technical Support: - Providing expert-level technical support for complex issues related to video analytics systems. - Coordinating with other IT and technical teams to resolve cross-functional issues. - Ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs). Process Improvement: - Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within video analytics operations. - Implementing best practices for video analytics system management and support. - Conducting regular reviews and audits of system performance and support activities. Stakeholder Management: - Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand their video analytics requirements and deliver appropriate solutions. - Communicating effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about system status, issues, and enhancements. - Managing vendor relationships and service contracts related to video analytics systems. Reporting And Documentation: - Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for video analytics systems, processes, and procedures. - Generating regular reports on system performance, support activities, and key metrics. - Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management. Skills Required: - Proficiency in video analytics software and tools. - Strong knowledge of video management systems (VMS) and IP camera technologies. - Experience with network infrastructure and protocols related to video analytics. - Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools. - Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for video analytics systems. Key Attributes: - Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, IT engineering, or equivalent qualifications. - 3 to 5+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 1 year in the same domain. - Proven track record in developing and supporting automation applications.,
