Manager, US Partnership Tax (Private Equity)

Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate sound knowledge in the taxation of U.S investment partnerships in the Hedge fund and Private Equity space - Possess knowledge on securities analysis including wash sale, short sales, and dividend analysis - Understand Partnership Tax allocations, aggregate allocations for Hedge funds, tax waterfall, and GP clawback for Private Equity - Review various tax forms such as Schedule K-1, Form 1065, Form 1042, 8804, 8805, 8621, 5471, and 8865 - Act as a point of contact for client engagements and manage client accounts effectively - Assist Assistant Managers, communicate with onshore engagement teams/clients, and manage project economics - Develop, mentor, and supervise Advance Analysts, Tax Seniors, and Assistant Managers - Sign federal and state tax returns as paid preparer upon approval - Encourage individual development, delegate tasks effectively, demonstrate leadership, and conduct performance reviews Qualifications Required: - Graduate/Postgraduate in a finance, numerical, or statistical background - CPA certification would be an added advantage - 4 to 6 years of relevant experience About the Company: EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people, and society while building trust in the capital markets.
