Job Description

As a member of the tendering team, your primary responsibility will be to provide support to the Tender Manager in the day-to-day operations. This includes processing customer Request For Quotations efficiently to ensure timely delivery as per the customer's requested date. In cases where meeting the customer's requested date is not feasible, you are expected to escalate the issue to the Tender Manager for further review. Your role will also involve interpreting customer specifications to guarantee the accurate delivery of requirements. Any ambiguities in the specifications should be clarified with the opportunity leader before uploading the Request For Quotation in bFO. It is crucial to ensure that the customer and opportunity leader are informed about any non-compliance in the offer. All Terms and Conditions must adhere to the standard guidelines, and any deviations should be brought to the attention of the Tendering Manager before the offer is uploaded to bFO. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing handover documents following the ETO Toolbox Classification and attending handover meetings as a representative of the tendering team. Additionally, your participation in local SIM meetings is required, and you may support the Tendering Manager in attending other unit SIM team meetings. Continuous self-development is encouraged in this role, whether through opportunities provided by Schneider University, e-learning platforms, or external training programs.
