Job Description

Team Leadership & Development:
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing individual team members.
- Setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback.

Project Management & Delivery:
- Planning, organizing, and executing software development projects.
- Ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
- Managing project scope, timelines, and resources.
- Tracking project progress and communicating updates to stakeholders.
Technical Oversight & Quality:
- Providing technical, functional guidance and support to the team.
- Ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Reviewing code and providing feedback to improve quality.
- Identifying and mitigating technical risks.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Communicating project status, technical issues, and team performance to senior management.
Recruiting & Onboarding:
- Participating in the hiring process to build a high-performing team.
- Onboarding new team members and ensuring they are equipped for success.
Continuous Improvement:
- Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Strong knowledge on data base technologies like Oracle, Postgres and Snowflake.
Programing experience using java, python or SQL, PL/SQL.
Experience in unix/linux and shell scripting.
Experience with working with message/event buses
Experience in leading large scale application transformation and modernization.
Experience in managing cross functional teams like developers, DBA, application support.
Experience in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle including Requirements, Design and Architecture, Development, testing and Quality Assurance, Deployment and Release Management and Maintenance and Support.
Working experience in public cloud, preferably Azure.
Knowledge of Apache Iceberg and InfluxDB is a plus.
Overall Experience: 10+ years in relevant technologies.
Flexible to work with overlapping hours with USA team.
