Job Description

As a Manager, Technical Consulting at Salesforce's Global Delivery Centre (GDC), you will play a crucial role in managing, training, and developing the careers of our technical consulting team. In this position, you will lead initiatives to build our Industries practice, contribute to the technical practice business plan, develop methodologies, and onboard new team members. You will also work closely with customers and partners as a technical architect to address important business challenges using Salesforces Industries Cloud. Your responsibilities will include overseeing up to 15 direct reports, delivering technical work on Industries projects, and leading your team of Technical Consultants. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring team members to implement solutions effectively. Additionally, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guide them in deploying emerging technologies, and lead internal initiatives to grow the Industries consulting practice. In this role, you will collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions, lead enterprise architecture, and governance for customer engagements. You will also lead functional and technical workshops, manage project teams, ensure customer success, and establish trust with clients" leadership. To be successful in this position, you should have 10-16 years of experience in leading Salesforce technical consulting projects, 5+ years of people management experience, and expertise in Salesforce Industries Cloud, Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, and Vlocity OmniStudio. Strong application design skills, data integration, and security architecture skills are essential. Salesforce certification and proficiency in English are preferred.
