The opportunity Manager-National-TAX-TAX - BTS - Consulting - Mumbai

EY has competencies in Business Tax Services, Global Compliance and Reporting, Global Law, Indirect Tax, International Tax and Transaction Services.

Your key responsibilities

Assisting Partners and Directors in representation in direct-tax appeal matters before CIT(A), DRP and ITAT.

Undertake preparation of legal documents, including petitions, appeals, and written submissions to tax authorities and appellate tribunals with help of the juniors.
Co-ordinate and collaborate with clients to understand the tax positions and provide strategic legal advice on direct tax matters. Stay updated on changes in direct tax laws, regulations, and judicial precedents that may impact litigation strategies. Liaise with external counsel and experts as necessary for complex tax matters.

Skills and attributes

Qualification

A Qualified Chartered Accountant

Experience

- Post qualification experience of atleast 4 years in Direct-tax, including transfer-pricing and International taxation

- Litigation experience would be an added advantage
