Job Description

This position is required to achieve the desired level of performance in the following Key Result areas: Ensure Product Shelf Availability is delivered consistently across supply chain point. Dynamically drive improvements in the relationship between demand and supply - ensures there is a greater partnership in achieving the right business performance. Analyze inventory, modify inventory norms basis obsolescence of product and seasonal variations of replenishment parameter settings at all points in line with actual usage patterns Execute plans for ordering and replenishment for regular trading days, promotions and key events ensuring availability for stores consistently by working very closely with vendors and distribution centre. Forecast and enforce liquidation plans for excess / near expiry stocks Reduction in inventory whilst maintaining a best in class on shelf availability. Developing vendors for ensuring timely receipt of materials at cost effective prices. Conduct periodic reviews of vendor performance through structured evaluation process.on deliveries and fill rates, channels and order calendars to improve availability and stockholding. Manage suppliers for meeting quality norms & meet supply deadlines for smooth completion. To maximize efficiency and cost optimization in the supply chain, and improve accuracy and results through collaborative approach with vendors/suppliers. Partner with Category & Store Operations team for procurement planning to meet the demand. Constantly be on the lookout at avenues to re-engineer & automate various processes within the function Work closely with the DC, CC team to enhance productivity. Improve processes and system continuously using innovative thinking and problem resolution skills. Visit stores in the region to take feedback and improve service. Required Skills & Competencies Should have worked in similar capacity with experience leading demand planning, inventory management, capacity planning and operations management functions Knowledge of SAP Forecast and Replenishment Good communication and team management experience.
