Manager, Strategy and Impact

As a Manager, Strategy & Impact at Teach For India, you will have the opportunity to lead complex projects independently, addressing challenges faced by the organization or any of the 20 vertical teams and cities. You will be reporting to the Director, Strategy & Impact and will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects such as developing sustainable recruitment strategies, managing impact evaluations, planning data management systems, and designing survey tools for organizational culture and engagement assessment. In 2023, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Leadership Team and the Board in the strategic planning process for the next ten years at Teach For India. The Strategy and Impact team at Teach For India is focused on three main areas of work - medium-to-long term organizational strategy, monitoring and evaluation, and internal consulting projects. As part of this team, you will serve as a key thought partner for the CEO, providing valuable insights and recommendations for decision-making processes. You will collaborate with various internal teams on projects related to strategy design, capacity building, performance improvement initiatives, and change management. Your responsibilities will include designing and managing short-term projects for organizational development, conducting data analysis, creating reports, facilitating workshops, and supporting strategic review processes. Additionally, you will be involved in researching best practices in strategic planning, monitoring, and organizational development, while also maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's Degree, 2-3 years of work experience with a focus on management consulting or project management, strong project management skills, data analysis capabilities, and proficiency in tools such as Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders are also essential qualities for this position.
