Job Description

This job will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced monitoring and data preparation functions for machine learning models and strategies to solve complex problems. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to enhance services through full stack and AI/ML solutions. Your role will involve leading a full stack engineering team in building scalable monitoring pipelines, enable RCA(root cause analysis) capabilities for detected anomalies, and fix issues in production environments to drive business insights and improve customer experiences

Essential Responsibilities

Lead the development and optimization of advanced machine learning models.
Oversee the preprocessing and analysis of large datasets.
Deploy and maintain ML solutions in production environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into products and services.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, making necessary adjustments.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification

Lead the development , optimization and maintenance of monitoring and RCA applications to enable self-service for business partners to establish capabilities in fraud/incident detection and investigation.

Strong capability to understand different business needs, and translate them into engineering tasks, push for delivery with quality.

Manage and develop a full stack engineering team with strong people management and coaching skills , experienced in providing feedback and performance evaluation to team members, and maximize team output .

Collaborate with engineers from other sites, data scientists and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions .

P roficiency in Java with Spring Boot framework and Spring ecosystem , or Python with k nowledge of npm package management

Solid understanding of RESTful API development and HTTP client libraries

Solid understanding of web application tech stack, including React, Node.JS

Experience with cloud-based data platforms ( e.g. Google BigQuery )

Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)

Experience with Devops best practises , containaerization (Docker/Kubernetes), version control systems (Git) and CI/CD

Familiar with Linux environments; able to perform troubleshooting of scripts (Shell/Python)

Proven ability to drive technical strategy, prioritize tasks and allocate resources for scalable solutions

Good communication skills, have experience in conflict resolution and have flexibility to sync up with teams across different locations / timezones remotely

Ability to align technical projects with business goals

Experienced in managing team performance

Experience with time-series databases ( InfluxDB )

Experience in building GenAI based solutions

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience working in agile development environments

Experience in leading a full stack engineering team
