Manager, ServiceNow Developer - P&SC

The Opportunity The ServiceNow Developer will contribute to building and enhancing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform to support essential services that improve workplace experiences. The person will work with stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Procurement, and Security, providing opportunities to deliver impactful solutions that make work easier and more efficient.
Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic ServiceNow team in Corporate Systems. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in ServiceNow development. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to our ServiceNow instances, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and business processes. This position is based in our Hyderabad location and we follow a hybrid work policy. What will you do in this role

• 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including modules such as HAM, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM Discovery, Catalog.
• Experience with implementing and managing integrations, Service-Graph connectors, basic automation, custom scope application and ServiceNow mobile applications are added advantage.

• Certified System Administrator for ServiceNow.
• Certified Application Developer for ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with API integration, and web service calls.
• Understanding of ETL mapping, transformation maps, and IRE rules
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.

What should you have 1. User Needs Assessment:

• Understand user requirements and assist in evaluating ServiceNow capabilities that meet those needs.
• Participate in estimation and refinement of user stories.

2. Project Release Management:

• Support implementation of release strategies for ServiceNow enhancements.
• Assist in defining scope for small to medium projects.

3. Technical Communication:

• Share technical updates with team members and stakeholders.
• Help gather business and functional requirements.

4. Workflow and Documentations:

• Prepare clear documentation for development and deployment processes.
• Maintain records of configurations and changes.

5. Technical Solution Development:

• Translate functional requirements into technical tasks.
• Perform feasibility checks and basic risk assessments.

6. System Configuration and Testing:

• Collaborate with systems architects to build, configure and test ServiceNow components.
• Install, configure, and test tools as per design specifications.
• Support integration testing and validation.

7. Integration and Maintenance:

• Assist in integrating ServiceNow with external systems like Workday or Ariba.
• Help implement testing and validation procedures.

8. Documentation and Training:

• Document changes and impacts on existing environments.
• Contribute to training materials for end-users.
