Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW :

  1. This position will ensure execution of sales strategy for assigned area, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for services sales of transformers in a profitable way.
  2. Revenue generation in Servicing vertical (Sale-Services, Customer received property at HPS works.) for all type of transformers for Asia Pacific and African regions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. To meet the defined sale targets on monthly basis.
  2. To adopt HPS culture of Health & Safety, Integrity and Good Compliance.
  3. To work within the company rules & guidelines and ensuring resolutions of customer issues by coordinating with various teams within the organization.
  4. To coordinate with servicing team on daily basis.
  5. Performing various sales activities.
  6. A.) From Unloading instruction against receipt of customer property at HPS works.
  7. B.) Conduct Initial Joint Inspection in concern with Customer as well HPS cross functional team.
  8. C.) Carry out the un tanking activity in support with Service Technician for the processing of repair inputs with cross functional team.
  9. D) Preparation of RCA / Failure report in concern with Joint inspection findings.
  10. To make sales plan as per target, work for MIS Activities, make presentations to customer.
  11. Handling all technical and commercial part related to transformer service.
  12. Establish yearly goals and objectives, aligned with company business strategy and for profitable revenue goals.
  13. To strengthen and lead servicing teams for better performance and to enable quick customer opportunities to live upto the expectations of the customers.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES :

  1. To build and support strong relationships with Internal HPS Cross functional team and networks with continuous improvement in different market segments with all range of servicing.
  2. To establish superior performance customer service department in HPS premises.
  3. Maintaining Timelines to complete the Joint inspection and inputs to respective HPS internal department.
  4. Analyzing and making recommendations, provide guidance to effectively submission of Failure Report / RCA to customer.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT :

  1. Reports to Head of Sales Service.
  2. Closely coordinates company executive involvement with the partners as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & WORK CONDITIONS :

  1. Bachelor Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree.
  2. Experience in transformers industry.
  3. Minimum 10 to 20 years of progressive servicing experience with strong focus on business development and customer relations.
  4. Commanding, credibility, integrity, discretion, diplomacy, flexibility, emotional intelligence.
  5. Familiarity with technical concepts of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and deep understanding of operations.
  6. Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.
  7. Effective leadership skills, with strong focus on operations and business processes.
  8. Effective attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  9. Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills.
  10. Ability to analyze and make recommendations, provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion.
  11. Ability to handle pressure and meet both company and customer expectations.
  12. Willingness to travel frequently to customer places for resolution of customer issues and work in a global team of professionals.
  13. Depth of knowledge to understand global market scenario in line with HPS stand.
  14. Creative and innovative thinking with fresh approaches.
  15. Risk management and strong ability in handling stress and meet both company and customer expectations.
  16. Local language is a must along with English and Hindi.
  17. The Person will be based in our office in India.
  18. All prospective employees must pass a background and Health checks.
