Tata Communications Redefines Connectivity with Innovation and IntelligenceDriving the next level of intelligence powered by Cloud, Mobility, Internet of Things, Collaboration, Security, Media services and Network services, we at Tata Communications are envisaging a New World of CommunicationsYou will be accountable for(Key Responsibilities)Contribute as anindividual contributor for deployment of customer projects.Monitors and managesservice operations and service delivery as per agreed SLA and drivescertification and compliance to regulatory requirements.Provides inputs oncapacity planning & resources to supervisor for AOP.Liase with engineeringteam to provide solutions.Engages with customers,project manager and Sales team to understand customer requirement.May lead importantprojects that require providing experienced project team members withinstruction, guidance and advice in all aspects of the project to ensuredelivery of quality outcomes.Able to independentlyresolve complex projects, issues, challenges encountered.Operational role,responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievementof results within the job area and may also impact a wider operational area.Capable of instructingprofessional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the workundertaken by these roles.Capable of identifyingkey issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required resultswith minimal direction and supervision.Demonstrate a level of flexibility in resolving problems/issues thatat least to in-depth command of all techniques, processes, tools andstandards, within the relevant field of specialisation.Performs analysis ofnetwork security needs and contributes to integration and installation ofhardware and software.Analyzes, troubleshoots, and corrects network problems remotely.Prior hands-on professional experience must include LAN Switching,Routing, FortiGate UTM, Palo Alto Firewalls & UTM, and CheckpointFirewalls & UTM, Cisco ASA . Knowledge on SIEM Tools and DDoS would be aplus.Maintains andadministers perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusiondetection systems.Modifies and maintainsnetwork security policy.Designs and implementsremote connectivity solutions including IP Sec VPN, PPTP, and SSLVPNMonitors security system logs (i.e. intrusion detection system,firewall system logs, etc.) and reports on discovered anomalies or problems.Uses sniffers and othertools to troubleshoot and isolate network problems.Assists with networksecurity assessments for potential business partners.Keeps fully abreast oftrends and changing technologies in Information Security fields. You have experience in (including any education background &Certifications)Bachelor s degree inComputer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or otherrelevant field.Minimum of 3 to 6years directly related work experience in Network/security administrationPrior hands-on professional experience must include Cisco Routers , Switches,F5, A10 SLB/GSLB, FortiGate UTM, Juniper Firewalls & UTM, and CheckpointFirewalls & UTM, Cisco ASA & UTM . Knowledge on SIEM Toolsand DDoS would be a plus.Working knowledge ofnetwork security, Checkpointfirewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, authenticationmechanisms, encryption technologies,and networking protocols including SMTP, HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP,and SNMP.Strong analytical,
