Manager Service Delivery

As a Manager Service Delivery at Bayer, your role involves working in a team of infrastructure specialists and engineers to support and maintain infrastructure solutions and services as per architectural guidelines. Your key responsibilities include: - Ensure services are delivered and used as required - Work with and support third parties to provide infrastructure services In this role, you will: - Build, configure, administer, and support various infrastructure technologies and solutions such as computing, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, COTS, open source packages, virtual and cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) - Develop proficiency in modern standards approach principles and apply them under guidance - Take ownership of issues until resolved or mitigated - Investigate problems in systems, processes, and services and contribute to implementing remedies and preventative measures - Design systems, develop scripting tools, automate infrastructure tasks, and produce detailed designs - Build and test interfaces between systems, troubleshoot problems, and identify optimization opportunities - Apply SRE principles to enhance reliability, scalability, and performance of critical IT infrastructure and services - Integrate OT systems with enterprise IT environments, support and maintain OT infrastructure with focus on cybersecurity - Drive continuous improvement initiatives across IT and OT domains Qualifications required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field - Proven experience in infrastructure engineering or similar role - Experience with network administration, server management, virtualization, cloud platforms, network protocols, scripting, automation, and problem-solving - Ability to analyze system performance, understand and mitigate security risks, and work collaboratively in a team environment Preferred qualifications include advanced certifications, experience with DevOps practices and tools, familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, and understanding of compliance.
