Manager - Service Contracts

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of service contracts for oil & gas projects, from pre-tendering to contract closure. Your role will involve ensuring contractual compliance, risk mitigation, and efficient vendor engagement. Strong commercial acumen, legal awareness, and hands-on experience in SAP-based contract management are essential for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare RFQ (Request for Quotation) and Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) documents for projects. - Ensure all annexures are attached as per Project Operating Procedures. - Identify suitable bidders from the Master Contractor List (zone-wise). - Conduct bid evaluations and prepare comparative statements. - Manage and analyze budgetary quotations. - Draft and review General Conditions of Contract. - Organize and lead pre-bid meetings with potential bidders. - Handle contractual correspondences during pre-bid and post-award stages. - Draft Letters of Intent and Work Orders. - Recommend liquidated damages based on documented delays. - Facilitate contract closure and dispute resolution. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering. - 5 to 12 years of experience in Tendering & Contracts within the Oil & Gas industry. - Minimum 2-3 years in PMC or asset owner roles preferred. - Experience in managing service contracts. - Awareness of statutory and legal requirements governing contracts in India. Additional Details: You will need strong commercial acumen, market intelligence, and in-depth knowledge of contractual terms and the Indian Contract Act. Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in SAP-based contract management systems, effective negotiation skills, and familiarity with contract risk mitigation strategies are also essential for this role.,
