Role & responsibilities Responsible for Procurement of Electrical items like Power Cable, Control Cable, Wiring harness, Junction Box, Connectors, Sensors, Ultra Capacitor, Resistor, ACB etc. Responsible to analyze and manage frequent design change issues in the wind turbines technology. Collaborate with suppliers to implement and standardize these design changes in a timely manner. Plan and sourcing of Electrical items from overseas and domestic suppliers, used for the assembly and maintenance of wind turbine generators. Develop reliable and efficient suppliers to meet inconsistent demand in wind industry. Responsible to Negotiate for price, delivery period and other commercial terms with vendors. Finalize the price and prepare comparative statement for various offers received and finalize the vendor. Follow up for delivery as per delivery date mentioned in the purchase order. Handover delivery documents to logistics for material handling. Reconcile issues involving accounts, rejected materials their replacement and their payments. Maintain Vendor Rating on the basis of Timely delivery and number of rejections. Develop Vendors as per ISO/9000-2001 Requirements.
