As an underwriter for mortgage business in the assigned branch/location, your role involves reviewing and assessing complex loan applications, conducting personal discussions with customers to establish credit worthiness, and maintaining various MIS reports related to portfolio, delinquency, and operations. You will also be responsible for assessing income to obligation ratios, loan to value ratios, and ensuring collateral and credit risk mitigation for approval authorities. Key Responsibilities: - Review and assess complex loan applications within defined guidelines - Conduct personal discussions with customers for credit worthiness evaluation - Maintain Portfolio MIS, Delinquency MIS, and other operations-related MIS - Build effective relationships with third parties for best outcomes for clients - Ensure quick turnaround time for credit lending proposals in liaison with sales team - Undertake critical review of credit proposals and facilitate risk mitigation - Manage credit underwriting function of the branch and facilitate quick proposal turnaround - Follow up and ensure recovery of quick mortality cases within specified timeframe Qualifications Required: - Graduate, Masters/Post Graduate - Certifications: CA/MBA (Preferable),
