Job Description

As the Manager of Quality at Tenneco, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring all quality functions within the plant at Pithampur. Your role will involve working closely with the Production department to maintain high-quality standards and meet customer requirements. Here are some of your key responsibilities: - Ensure Customer Rejection PPM stays within the target - Conduct FG Parts Inspection as per the plan - Maintain Mean time between Receipt to Clearance of FG Parts - Facilitate rework or segregation by production for any quality issues - Run SPC for all FG Parts and communicate results - Provide guidance and leadership to key quality staff - Manage the quality documentation and files required by the company and customers - Train and develop an appreciation of TQM within the organization - Ensure all products are in compliance with customer requirements and specifications - Update the board regarding TS 16949, ASES, Q1MSA activities - Maintain Response time to Customer for any issues as per the 8D Clauses Desired Competencies/Skills: - Authorized to Reject or Hold non-conforming products observed at any Shop floor production - Good Communication and interpersonal skills - Sound knowledge of Quality systems Ideal candidate experience: - M.E / B.E / D.M.E (Mechanical, Automobile, Production Engineering) with 15-20 years of experience from a reputable organization.
