Manager - Project Engineering

'Lead - Engineering" for LANXESS PTSE is a potential Engineering excellence centre in India to deliver best-in-class Project Engineering solutions and Technical Sourcing support from India to local and global projects/sites of Lanxess, thereby leveraging low cost advantage offered by India region to furrher build competitiveness and creating value for business units of Lanxess. Manage and execute capital investment projects throughout all phases (from concept, over design to execution and commissioning) in order to maintain or improve LXS assets.

1. To execute concept, basic & detailed design of identified Capex and improvement projects of Lanxess and and deliver key success factors of Safety, Quality, Time and cost
2. To provide Technical sourcing support to global projects/sites of Lanxess from India in order to create value for Lanxess through low cost country sourcing initiative
3. To provide documentation support to local and global sites by converting hard copies into soft copies and for preparing as built documents
4. Coordination and supervision of internal and external engineers/subject matter experts, all related discipline,, involved BU-representatives and all contractors internal / external (engineering and construction)
5. To support establishing and developing Engineering Excellence centre in India by developing/adapting standards, workflows, procedures, tools and templates in the organization. Ensure compliance with LXS Guideline RL-0036 utilizing the LXS-Project Management Standard.

• Specific Education : Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering degree or higher
• Work Experience : 15+ years of experience
• Special Skills : Leadership Experience, Internationnal Experience preferred, Strategic Thinking, Decisiveness, Drive
