Manager - Product Software Engineering

As a Product Delivery Manager for Wolters Kluwer Passport enterprise legal management SaaS product, your role will be crucial in managing the product delivery process. You will be required to challenge the status quo, drive innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery to the market. Your responsibilities will include: - Maintaining an obsessive focus on customer experience and continual delivery of value - Leading the team to instil trust, empower team members, focus on business outcomes, and foster a learning culture - Promoting a DevOps culture to ensure efficient and automated application development processes - Managing a team of 5-10+ engineers to deliver the product on time with superior quality - Keeping abreast of industry best practices and relevant technologies - Participating in code reviews, setting coding standards, and troubleshooting when required - Partnering with cross-functional leads and stakeholders to design and develop modifications and enhancements to Passport - Conducting performance appraisals, providing coaching/mentoring, and ensuring operational escalations are managed effectively - Mentoring technical managers and engineers through formal and informal channels - Ensuring high-quality software production and continuous improvement for higher efficiency In terms of qualifications, you should have: Education: - Bachelors degree in engineering (B.E. or B. Tech.), Computer Science or Engineering with equivalent credentials - Masters degree highly preferred Experience and Skill set: - Overall, 10 years of experience with a minimum of 7 years of development experience in Java front-end technologies such as React/Angular - Minimum of 3 years of experience managing small to medium-sized teams - Experience in web development with client-side scripting languages - Extensive experience using and managing GIT-based source control systems - Experience building Azure native applications - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Strong strategic thinker with the ability to oversee multiple complex project deliveries in parallel Please note that onsite appearances at a Wolters Kluwer office may be required as part of the recruitment process.,
