Description
This position requires a passionate and technology-driven candidate to manage the product delivery of Wolters Kluwer Tymetrix360 enterprise legal management SaaS product. You should be willing to challenge the status quo, drive innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your role will demand strong technical skills in software development and a proven track record of delivering products to the market. Your daily activities will involve working across multiple work streams, overseeing the performance of team leads and individual developers, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery. You will also assist in planning and estimating work, understanding requirements and desired functionality, and contributing to crafting technical solutions for delivering the desired functionality. Reporting directly to the Director of Product Software Engineering for Tymetrix360, this role is crucial for the continued growth of the product and business unit within Wolters Kluwer. Responsibilities And Accountabilities - Maintain an obsessive focus on customer experience and continuous delivery of value. - Lead effectively to instill trust, empower team members, focus on business outcomes, and foster a learning culture. - Promote a DevOps culture to streamline building, testing, deploying, and monitoring applications efficiently and automatically. - Manage a team of 20+ engineers and ensure on-time product delivery with superior quality. - Stay updated on industry best practices and relevant technologies. - Monitor software engineering trends and development tools to influence solutions for Tymetrix360. - Understand platform capabilities and functionality to design and develop new features, modifications, enhancements, and tools. - Engage in code reviews, establish coding standards, and troubleshoot as needed across different teams. - Collaborate with cross-functional leads and stakeholders to design and implement modifications and enhancements to Tymetrix360. - Coordinate with Product Management in all development areas including planning, estimation, risk management, delivery, and support. - Conduct performance appraisals, provide coaching/mentoring to direct reports, and ensure operational escalations are managed effectively. - Produce high-quality software, contribute to continuous improvement, and mentor technical managers and engineers. - Handle operational and employee-related escalations and resolve them efficiently. - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements And Qualifications Education: - Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.E. or B. Tech.), Computer Science, or equivalent - Master's degree highly preferred Experience and Skill set: - 10 years of experience, with at least 7 years in C#, ASP.NET, .Net frameworks, and front-end technologies like React. - Minimum of 3 years managing small to medium-sized teams. - Web development experience with client-side scripting languages. - Proficiency in using and managing GIT-based source control systems for continuous integration and delivery. - 5+ years of experience in building Azure native applications. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies and processes. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with mature judgment. - Strategic thinker with the ability to apply conceptual strategy, facilitate brainstorming, and oversee project execution. - Experience leading teams in exploring new technologies for potential business value and cost efficiencies. - Ability to manage multiple complex project deliveries simultaneously. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
