Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the strategy, resource planning, competence development, and people development for all the operations and engineering functions within the group. Collaboration with various cross-functional groups/teams, suppliers, and customers will be essential. Your role will involve analysis, risk management, and ensuring the success of your group in various aspects. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare strategies (short, mid & long term) aligned with Global Strategy. - Ensure achievement of defined KPIs and financial KPIs. - Assist in resource planning and allocation based on tender & project forecasts in coordination with the global organization. - Review and approve techno-economic offerings in tenders/projects, assess risks and opportunities. - Conduct routine reviews and follow-ups with project teams, cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers. - Uphold Hitachi Energy Group compliance, Integrity, Health & Safety standards within the team. - Recruit personnel as per Capacity workforce planning. - Conduct personnel assessments, set targets for direct reports, identify development areas, and implement necessary actions for retention and succession planning. - Participate in strategic work, develop local strategies, and roadmap. - Drive operational development for the local organization. - Embody Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity in actions and interactions. Qualifications Required: - Masters/bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical/Electronic. - Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years as a Group Manager handling people managers and a team size of 50+. - Proficient in Power Quality Solutions, HVDC, Substation, Quality, SCM, HSE, and Project Management. - Thorough knowledge of related disciplines, strong communication, and collaboration skills. - Good intercultural sensitivity and strong leadership capabilities. - Excellent English proficiency, dynamic, proactive, and eager to grow within the organization. - Attention to detail, commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.,
