Manager of Artificial Intelligence Engineering

As an AI Lead/Manager based in Chennai with 5 to 16 years of experience, you must possess strong skills in C++ or Python, Machine Learning (including regression models and TensorFlow framework), and Artificial Intelligence. Your educational background should include a BTech with 8+ years of experience in C++ or Python, an M.Tech with 6+ years of experience, or a PhD with 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning. Ideal candidates will have experience in AI/ML/DL from tier 1 colleges such as IIT, IIIT, VIT, NIT, and a background in working with product companies, especially engineering product companies. Additionally, candidates should meet the following preferred qualifications: - Proficiency in machine learning using regression models and TensorFlow framework - Strong foundation in software architecture, modern development practices, and design patterns - Experience in Python or C# for writing production-quality, object-oriented code - Familiarity with parallel/distributed computing, performance profiling, and memory optimization - Knowledge of API development and Azure DevOps - Exposure to computational physics, numerical simulations, and semiconductors (electrical properties, manufacturing, and metrology) Minimum qualifications include at least 2 years of experience leading or managing a team of machine learning algorithm engineers, along with a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related computational field combined with significant years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning software solutions for semiconductor devices and thin film metrology. This involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements, building machine learning-based solutions, optimizing algorithms, and developing APIs. You will work on extending prototypes into fully functional solutions, implementing solutions in Python with TensorFlow, writing unit tests, providing technical support during testing phases, documenting software solutions, and maintaining existing solutions throughout their life cycle.
