Manager - MIS & R2R

About the role:

Were seeking an Assistant Manager/ Manager– MIS Reporting & R2R SPOC to oversee accurate and timely monthly book closures, management reporting, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. This role requires strong accounting expertise, analytical acumen, and leadership skills to drive process improvements and ensure effective financial operations.

The ideal candidate will bring deep financial reporting experience, strong understanding of accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS), and the ability to partner cross-functionally to support business growth and performance management.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and publish monthly MIS reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Variance Analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct analytical reviews of financial results to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling estimates in collaboration with FP&A and business teams.
• Develop and maintain management dashboards, segment-wise reporting, and cost centre analysis.
• Track and report departmental performance, cost optimization initiatives, and efficiency metrics through department-level MIS.
• Oversee the general ledger (GL) process to ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Operations teams for seamless financial operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives in MIS and R2R functions.
• Support revenue accounting for both domestic and international operations, ensuring compliance with Ind AS requirements.
• Monitor invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile revenue-related accounts and analyse revenue trends and variances.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to build a strong and capable finance team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Experience: 5–8 years of experience in MIS Reporting, Record-to-Report (R2R), or financial consolidation.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).
  Tools: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred).
• Attention to Detail: High commitment to data accuracy and reporting precision.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and generate business insights.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to senior stakeholders.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, mentor team members, and drive efficiency.
• Preferred: Experience in multi-entity reporting and financial consolidation processes.
