Job Description

Role & responsibilities

MIS & Budgeting:

Preparation and presentation of Monthly Financial MIS Reports
Annual Budget preparation and coordination with cross-functional teams
Variance analysis against budget and prior periods
Identification, analysis, and reporting of reasons for variances
Co-ordinate with the concerned departments for the replies to the queries on the MIS Report variances
Detailed expense analysis and submission of insights to Management for informed decision-making
Support in Cost Control and Cost reduction with the information & reporting
Ensuring monthly booking and accrual of all expenses in line with accounting standards
Follow-up with departments for timely submission of expense details and supporting documents
Account reconciliations and periodic reporting of variances and exceptions
Maintenance and periodic updating of the Fixed Assets Register (FAR)
Capitalization of fixed assets in accordance with applicable accounting standards
Preparation and maintenance of the depreciation schedule
Physical verification of fixed assets and reconciliation with books.
Providing accurate and timely financial information to support management control and strategic decision-making
