Manager Marketing

As a Manager in the Directorate of Alumni at Amrita University, you will be responsible for understanding various alumni segments and developing top-tier marketing programs on a global scale. Your primary focus will be to execute the development aspects of Amrita's Alumni Reengagement Plan, catering to almost 1,00,000 Alumni. To begin with, you will need to grasp the general areas of Sustainable Development Goals, societal support categories as defined by Embracing the World, and alumni named gifts. This understanding will aid you in crafting targeted projects that encourage alumni and their families to contribute either through funding or volunteer work. The Reengagement Plan includes multiple sections designed to enhance the alumni experience and highlight the advantages of Amrita's Education for Living & Education for Life principles. These sections encompass providing curated training opportunities for self-improvement, career advancement, engagement with fellow alumni based on geography and interests, as well as offering mentoring, coaching, and service/funding prospects within the economically vulnerable sections of society. Regular communication and events are organized across our six campuses and more than 120 subject areas, reinforcing the overarching goals of the Alumni Directorate. The ideal candidate for this role should have a total of 4 years of work experience, with specific expertise in CSR fundraising for at least 1 year (desirable) and grant writing for 1 year (required). Proficiency in English is a must for effective communication in this role. The work location for this position is remote, preferably in proximity to one of Amrita University's campuses.
