Manager, Manufacturing (Electric Heaters)

As the Production Manager at TELELEC HEATING EQUIPMENT PVT LTD, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the factory operations to ensure timely delivery of high-quality electric industrial heaters and control panels. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various teams, optimizing resource utilization, managing production schedules, ensuring product quality, and leading the factory workforce to meet set targets. Working closely with the operations, materials, and quality teams, you will be responsible for validating pre-production drawings and documents, interpreting job orders, and assigning materials and schedules accordingly. Keeping track of delivery dates and extending them when necessary will be essential to maintain timely production. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Quality team to identify non-conformance causes and implement corrective actions for incoming, in-process, and finished materials. Your role will also involve issuing factory work instructions, standardizing processes, assigning tasks to the workforce, and monitoring their progress. Anticipating production issues and implementing efficient procedures to mitigate any loss of man hours will be part of your daily tasks. Furthermore, you will lead the factory workforce, provide training, handle grievances, ensure safety compliance, and maintain a clean and organized factory floor environment. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in industrial equipment manufacturing. Knowledge of fabrication techniques for equipment like heat exchangers, vessels, and tanks, as well as welding methods and conventional/non-conventional manufacturing machines, will be required. Your strong understanding of industrial process equipment and leadership skills will be instrumental in driving production efficiency and quality standards. In addition to technical expertise, you should possess analytical thinking, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and personnel under tight deadlines.
