Job Description SAP Basis Administration: Perform day-to-day administration tasks such as installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, etc. ) and associated databases. HANA DB Management: Manage and maintain SAP HANA databases, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and patch management. System Upgrades Migrations: Plan and execute SAP upgrades, support pack application, system migrations (OS/DB, SAP HANA migrations, etc. ), and patch management. Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor SAP systems and HANA database to identify and resolve potential issues, and perform performance optimization as needed. Security Compliance: Implement and maintain SAP security and authorization concepts. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Support Statutory Audits for SAP Systems - Globally, runs periodic checks meeting audit pointers and address gaps to maintain compliance Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and infrastructure teams, to support project requirements, changes, and enhancements. Manage and work closely with SAP AMS Partner for day-2-day operations Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for SAP systems, including configuration guides, SOPs, and incident response plans. Disaster Recovery Planning: Design and implement disaster recovery plans and participate in regular testing and validation. Work Experience SAP basis experience 8-10 years with HANA minimum 3 years Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration is required. Experience with SAP system migrations, upgrades, and support packs. Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
