Job Description

Job Requirements:

Responsible for security practices and procedures surrounding information technology
• Running regular checks on network and data security • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization • Design, implement and maintain corporate IT infrastructure • Designing training programs and workshops for staff • Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages • Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget • IT cost management controls • Providing direction for IT team and Help Desk members • Technology resource for the business units • Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement

Qualifications:

Demonstrable knowledge of network infrastructure and systems
• Working Knowledge of server platforms including OS X, Windows and Linux. This includes installation management and maintenance • Understanding of Active Directory and PowerShell • Understanding of network and systems architecture design • BS/MS Degree in related field or equivalent experience • Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure • Design and management experience with virtualization and containerization • On call 24x7/365 • Certifications in one or more networking, systems and or security technologies preferred • Security certifications are preferred
