Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced manager-level professional to lead impact assessment, baseline/midline/endline surveys, and CSR monitoring & evaluation across multi-state projects. The role involves designing robust research frameworks, supervising field teams, engaging with CSR partners, and converting data into clear, actionable insights.

A key requirement for this role is having an established network and strong industry connections in the CSR / development / impact assessment ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Lead baseline, midline, and endline surveys and needs assessments for CSR and development projects.
  • • Design and implement M&E frameworks, indicators, and tools aligned with project objectives and CSR requirements.
  • • Plan, manage, and supervise large-scale field surveys and data collection teams across locations.
  • • Conduct and oversee impact assessments and social audits, including beneficiary verification and community-level feedback.
  • • Build, leverage, and expand an industry network with CSR heads, corporates, consulting firms, and development sector organisations.
  • • Coordinate with CSR heads, corporate partners, and government stakeholders; present findings and recommendations.
  • • Ensure high data quality, including training, monitoring, and use of digital survey tools (ODK/Kobo/SurveyCTO, etc.).
  • • Lead analysis and preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • • Masters degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Rural Management, Public Policy, or related field.
  • • 7–12 years of experience in impact assessment, baseline/endline studies, CSR monitoring & evaluation or development sector M&E, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
  • • Proven experience managing field research teams and multi-location surveys.
  • • Strong understanding of the CSR ecosystem and social sector programs; familiarity with SDGs preferred.
  • • Established industry connections and a strong professional network with CSR heads, foundations, consulting firms, donors, or development organisations is a high priority for this role (not just a plus).
  • • Proficiency in Excel and statistical/data tools (SPSS/Stata/R, etc.) and digital data collection platforms.
  • • Excellent communication skills in English; Hindi/regional languages are an added plus.

ESG Note:

Experience with ESG-linked evaluations or sustainability reporting is not mandatory but will be considered an added advantage
