The opportunity

This role is responsible for leading platform development, maintenance, and support across enterprise systems. This role involves managing technical teams, resolving complex platform issues, implementing infrastructure projects and developing technical standards. The individual collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure the effective deployment of new technologies and maintains high service levels through continuous improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

• Hire, evaluate, and supervise team members, providing training and guidance to develop skills and enhance performance.
• Manage and resolve complex platform issues escalated from staff.
• Oversee the implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of platform technologies across all systems.
• Develop and implement changes to department policies and procedures to address evolving business needs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead quality initiatives to enhance service delivery and ensure critical technology maintenance is completed.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain platform standards and implement new technologies for enterprise-wide infrastructure projects.
• Establish and manage technical standards to meet organizational needs, evaluating IT vendor products and services for ongoing performance.
• Understand business functions and requirements to determine the best technical tools for addressing user needs.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

To qualify for the role,

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in platform engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT, or Bachelor’s in Computer Applications (BCA), or Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA).
• Strong knowledge of platform architecture, infrastructure management, and software development.
• Expertise in developing, testing, debugging, and implementing scalable software platforms.
• Experience with technical documentation, database technologies, and software programming languages.
• Ability to lead technical teams, drive continuous improvement, and implement strategic platform initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
• Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
