Request Job Title: Process Engineer - IT infrastructure and Patch management process We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer to assess, design, standardize, and optimize end to end IT Infrastructure and Patch Management processes This role involves working closely with IT Operations, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure standard practices are deployed, minimize risks, and enhance system reliability The ideal candidate will have strong process engineering experience, ITSM knowledge, and expertise in IT infrastructure and security patching best practices Key Responsibilities: Patch Management Process Assessment Optimization Assess and evaluate existing end to end IT/ Patch Management processes along with upstream and downstream dependencies, perform Gap analysis through process and data analysis, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions Create strategies to reduce cycle time, improve product quality, and increase efficiencies for process improvements Collaborate with other teams to design and implement policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Patching, incident response, roll back mechanisms and reporting Process Governance Compliance Lead a team and communicate the status of projects and deliverables Monitor and analyze performance metrics: Track metrics like cycle time, yield, and scrap rate to develop strategies for improvement Develop, execute, and document protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Ensure that processes comply with IT Operations and Regulatory standards Continuous Improvement Stakeholder Collaboration Guide junior engineers and other staff on process improvements Troubleshoot: Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve process issues Key Qualifications Skills: Strong exposure to end to end assessment of patch management processes, vulnerability management, incident response, roll back mechanisms and best practices Experience with industry-standard patching tools (eg, Tenable, WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti, BigFix, Tanium, etc) Expertise in ITIL-based change management ITSM frameworks Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and other compliance standards related to patching Collaborate with teams to optimize patch management workflows without directly performing patching task
