About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our Mastercard Checkout Services team within the Digital Solutions group. This team is responsible for developing and commercializing industry-standard e-commerce checkout products and services that enhance the consumer experience while providing merchants and issuers with innovative tools to reach and serve their customers effectively. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, building, and scaling products that transform the digital checkout experience for users worldwide. Your efforts will directly impact the security, convenience, and control of digital payments, aligning with Mastercard&aposs mission to create an inclusive, digital economy.The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving digital payment experiences, possess strong business acumen, and have a proven track record in product management within the digital or payments industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, technology, operations, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing enhancements. Your strategic insights and operational expertise will help drive the adoption and performance of Mastercards innovative payment solutions globally.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess significant prior experience in the digital payments industry, preferably with a focus on B2B customer support or operational functions. A strong understanding of system analysis, application development, and large-scale deployment processes is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills, along with a proactive problem-solving mindset. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a drive for continuous improvement are critical to success in this role. A bachelors degree in business, technology, or a related field is required; advanced degrees or relevant certifications in product management or payments are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of global product support and operational frameworks for programs such as Click to Pay, Secure Card on File for Merchants, and Secure Card on File for Commerce.
- Develop comprehensive understanding of all new features, capabilities, and their potential impact on consumers, merchants, and issuers by collaborating with product and technology teams.
- Create and distribute internal and external communication materials related to product releases, including schedules, system impacts, and detailed release notes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during troubleshooting sessions, gather and refine business and system requirements, and facilitate effective solutions.
- Support end-to-end testing activities to ensure product quality and readiness for deployment.
- Work with stakeholders to define operational strategies, understand all operational activities, touchpoints, and partner teams involved in managing the product and expanding into new regions.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain scorecards to monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making.
