As an Audit Manager at the Withum India office, you will collaborate with an integrated team of accounting professionals from the US and India. Your responsibilities will include involvement in all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion, supervising and mentoring staff, and fostering client relationships. Responsibilities: - Lead the engagement team in planning and executing audit, review, or compilation engagements for real estate, technology, and financial services clients to provide exceptional client service efficiently. - Oversee day-to-day operations of audit engagements, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, financial reporting, and conclusion. - Provide supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors, while fostering open communication with the engagement partner. - Collaborate with engagement team partners to resolve client issues and provide recommendations on legal, regulatory, and accounting matters during audits. - Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines efficiently. - Create and monitor engagement budgets to identify potential inefficiencies during audits. - Conduct constructive discussions with team members on evaluations and provide necessary guidance. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or Masters; CPA preferred. - Minimum 7 years of public accounting experience, including leading multiple engagements and supervising staff. Experience in auditing real estate, technology, and financial services clients is preferred. - Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including familiarity with US GAAP. - Excellent client service, communication, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to manage multiple engagements and projects simultaneously. - Strong leadership, training, mentoring, verbal, written, and presentation skills. - Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
