Job Description

As an aspiring leader responsible for developing the fastest growing region in GTR, your role will focus on growing the Brown-Forman portfolio and leading the long-term strategy of Travel Retail in India and the subcontinent countries. You will be accountable for the P&L of the entire region, establishing and nurturing strong relationships with travel retail operators, and crafting a sustainable strategy for the region. This position is an integral part of the IMEA Travel Retail team, working collaboratively with the GTR team to optimize strategies and ensure synergies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the growth of the region by managing P&L top & bottom line, market share, and fostering exceptional partnerships with TR operators. - Negotiate and finalize annual JBPs (ToTs) with leading operators within set deadlines. - Ensure full distribution and visibility of our portfolio, and oversee the sales team's effectiveness. - Collaborate with the Supply Chain lead to provide accurate forecasts and efficient routes to customers. - Expand the existing portfolio and cultivate emerging brands to drive growth. - Conduct thorough market analysis to identify dynamics and competition, providing strategic business recommendations. - Develop a 10-year Strategy for the region. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Travel Retail account management role. - Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships. - Proficient in commercial skills, negotiation, analytics, and problem-solving. - Excellent verbal (English & Hindi) and written (English) communication skills. - Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 40% of the time). - Strong planning, organizing, and prioritizing abilities. - Team player with a track record of effective teamwork across geographies and functions. - Visionary mindset with the capacity to envision long-term impacts. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the spirits sector, particularly those with existing relationships with TR operators in India or globally.
