Manager Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

As a Manager Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at our company, your role will involve leading our MIS and financial planning processes. You will need to have a strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting, along with excellent analytical skills to handle complex financial data effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and deliver monthly MIS reports accurately and in a timely manner - Coordinate with the accounts team to ensure smooth and timely monthly book closure - Review and analyze balance sheet and financial performance - Collaborate with multiple departments to gather, validate, and analyze financial data - Interpret financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights - Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities - Lead, guide, and review the work of junior finance team members Qualifications & Experience: - CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / Commerce graduate - Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in MIS / FP&A roles or experience in audit firms with exposure to large or complex clients - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting - Proficiency in Excel, financial tools, and ERP systems - Excellent communication and coordination skills - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability - Experience managing or mentoring a team preferred Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position based in Cochin.
