Manager - Finance (GST)

You are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager in the GST team to manage and oversee all aspects of Goods and Services Tax compliance, advisory, and reporting. This role will involve strategic planning, risk assessment, and ensuring adherence to current GST regulations to optimize your tax position. - Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) in compliance with regulatory requirements. - Oversee reconciliation of GST data and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. - Provide advisory services on GST implications related to business operations, contract negotiations, and transactions. - Identify opportunities for efficiency and improvements in tax processes. - Develop the GST team by providing training and guidance on GST compliance and best practices. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. - Manage preparation and submission of documents for internal and external audits. - Liaise with tax authorities during assessments, audits, and inquiries. - Manage any disputes arising with tax authorities. - Develop and implement GST policies, procedures, and controls. - Collaborate with various departments to understand business operations and ensure appropriate tax strategies are in place. - Stay updated on changes in GST laws and regulations. - Conduct research and analysis on emerging trends and their implications for the business. **Qualifications:** - CA or inter CA. LLB will be an added advantage. - Minimum 5-7 years of experience in GST compliance and advisory roles. - In-depth knowledge of GST laws, including compliance, advisory, and dispute resolution procedures. You should possess: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively. - Proficient in tax software and related technology. - Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software.,
