Role & responsibilities

Prepare and analyse MIS reports as required by management within timeline

Release cost projections to management to help in making informed pricing decisions

Prepare and analyse product-wise yield along with batch variations and utility variances

Evaluate and comment on feasibility of CAPEX and track status post implementation

Provide analysis on gross margin variances (vs budget and PY) and support in tracking of key margin and cost reduction initiatives

Support central costing team for timely completion of monthly cost run

Support and participate in budgeting of the Bu and coordinate with all functions for budgetary allocations

Adhere to Co | Bu | Fu | department policies and SOPs (as applicable)

Keep abreast with latest trends and development

Preferred candidate profile

• Business Financing & Reporting:

  Hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, variance analysis, cost analysis, and capex evaluation.

• Product Costing:

  Exposure to costing processes and analysis.

• Budgeting & Monitoring:

  Practical experience in budget preparation, variance analysis, and monthly review mechanisms.

• MIS & Reporting:

  Regular preparation of management dashboards and performance reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint.

• Financial Accounting & Closing:

  Strong understanding of accounting processes, month-end closing, and finalization of accounts.

• Audit Management:

  Experience in statutory, internal, and stock audits.

• Systems Proficiency:

  Well-versed with MS Excel and PowerPoint.

• Business Exposure:

  Managed finance operations for businesses in the ~700 Cr range.
