Company Description We are recruiting for managing finance function of an entity for their UK and India operations. The said client is based in UK, having a subsidiary in India, dealing into SAP and AI advisory business having clients across the globe. Role Description The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance and accounting and will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, compliance, cash flow management and financial planning for our UK and India entities. He will have the opportunity to collaborate with an international team of professionals located across UK, Europe and India. Key Responsibilities • Perform the review of day-to-day F&A operations, including A/P, A/R and general ledger and ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for India and UK entities as per prescribed timelines. • Execute the complete preparation of statutory financial statements, including Inter-co transactions, in an accurate and timely manner. • Responsible for managing multi-currency customer invoicing & collections, payroll, expense processing and Inter-co transactions. • Responsible for compliances and tax planning, including transfer pricing in India • Ensure compliance with statutory laws including Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, PF/ESI, and other local regulations. • Coordinate with statutory auditors for India and UK entities to ensure statutory accounts are produced within the required deadlines. • Assist in drafting Resolutions, Minutes of Board Meetings, General Meetings, Notices, and other Company Secretarial Documents. • Manage the organization's Banking operations and cash flows by preparing accurate forecasts, monitoring collections/AR and payments to ensure liquidity and optimal use of funds. • Manage investments of surplus funds as per internal guidelines. • Assist in preparation of budgets, monthly rolling forecasts, MIS, variances and financial dashboards. • Continuously identify and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices to enhance the quality and timeliness of financial outputs. Qualifications • CA or CMA with 2-3 years of relevant experience. • Strong understanding of India GAAP, Taxation and cross border compliance. • Proficiency in MS Office, • Knowledge of UK taxation and compliance requirements will be an added advantage. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic Start up environment and adaptable to evolving business needs as business grows in different territories.
