Position Overview

Manager – Fashion Merchandising & Production”

Key Responsibilities

• Fabric Sourcing & Procurement

• Identify, check, and evaluate fabric quality.
• Negotiate with suppliers and compare prices with market standards.
• Handle the purchasing process efficiently.

• Merchandising & Production

• Coordinate with the master/tailor to ensure smooth workflow.
• Track production timelines and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain quality standards during garment development.

• Pattern Making & Garment Construction

• Create patterns manually and prepare digital versions using software.
• Apply technical knowledge of garment stitching, finishing, and fitting.
• Ensure sample development and production accuracy.

• Inventory Management

• Maintain stock and fabric records in Excel.
• Monitor material usage and control wastage.
• Ensure accurate tracking of raw materials and finished goods.

• Multiple Store Management

• Oversee store upkeep, visual display, and customer experience.
• Ensure smooth coordination between retail operations and back-end inventory

• Social Media Management

• Plan and execute content strategies for Instagram and website.
• Oversee photoshoots, styling, and creative campaigns.
• Handle influencer marketing: negotiate, coordinate with models, and manage collaborations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Textile, Merchandising, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in fashion merchandising/production.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and pattern making software.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for inventory management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
