Manager Energy Markets & Regulatory Practice

Role Overview: As a Manager in the Energy Markets & Regulatory Practice, you will lead and execute consulting assignments related to policy, regulation, and market dynamics within the power and energy value chain. Your role will involve driving high-impact projects that influence the energy sector's landscape. You are expected to have a minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably in Management Consulting, to excel in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Spearhead consulting assignments in the energy sector with a focus on regulatory and policy advisory - Serve as a Project Manager or Team Lead in engagements with Regulatory Commissions, Power Utilities, and other key stakeholders - Independently develop financial models, including ARR / Tariff models across various energy segments - Prepare draft tariff orders, ARR and Multi-Year Tariff petitions, draft regulations, Statements of Reasons (SOR), and discussion papers to contribute to the growth and success of the practice Qualification Required: - Preferred experience in consulting within the energy sector, particularly with regulatory bodies and utilities - Exposure to power market advisory and experience in managing teams will be advantageous - Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the Indian Power sector and strong financial modeling and energy market analysis skills are essential - Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required - Experience with energy modeling tools will be beneficial - Excellent analytical, report writing, and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal and team management capabilities, are vital for ensuring high-quality project deliverables and fostering a collaborative work environment.,
