Job Description

Role Overview: As a Manager at BDO India in the Due Diligence department, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of the target business, analyzing key information, and providing valuable insights for structuring transactions. Your role will involve leading a team, reviewing reports, and delivering quality outputs within agreed timelines. Additionally, you will play a crucial part in identifying key issues, assessing their impact on valuation, and advising on appropriate solutions. Business development and maintaining strong client relationships will also be key aspects of your position. Key Responsibilities: - Develop an understanding of the target business's competitive positioning, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges - Lead client service execution as an Engagement manager - Supervise the team during project execution, review reports, and provide valuable inputs - Analyze information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available data on the target business - Produce high-quality deliverables including Excel and PowerPoint documents within agreed timelines - Review historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets - Analyze projections, underlying assumptions, operating trends, and quality of earnings - Identify key deal-related issues, assess their impact on valuation, and recommend solutions - Cultivate strong client relationships and ensure compliance with risk management procedures - Resolve risk issues proactively with Partner support - Contribute to knowledge sharing efforts and improve processes for knowledge capture and leverage - Build and manage a team effectively, serving as a role model, mentor, and coach - Work on business development, proposals, and cost estimates Qualifications Required: - At least 4-7 years of relevant experience in Due Diligence - CA qualification Company Details: BDO India conducts thorough due diligence procedures involving record verification, meetings with key individuals, and detailed data analysis.
