Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Assist in handling

    income tax assessments, appeals, and other litigation matters

    before tax authorities.
  • Draft submissions, replies to notices, appeals, and other correspondence with the Income Tax Department.
  • Conduct legal and tax research on case laws, circulars, and notifications.
  • Attend assessment hearings and represent clients before tax authorities (as applicable).
  • Assist in preparing documentation and briefs for representation at appellate forums including CIT(A) and ITAT.
  • Coordinate with clients for gathering necessary information and documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in direct tax laws, court rulings, and CBDT notifications.

Preferred candidate profile

  • CA qualification is mandatory

    (fresher or up to 2 years of relevant experience).
  • Strong knowledge of

    Income Tax Act, assessments, appeals

    , and related procedures.
  • Good understanding of tax litigation processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent

    drafting, research, and communication skills

    .
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
