Job Description

You will be responsible for designing visually compelling infographics, charts, graphs, timelines, and frameworks to communicate health data and insights. You must apply strong design fundamentals such as typography, layout, color, and iconography to ensure clarity, hierarchy, and brand alignment. Additionally, you will need to develop scalable and modular visual systems for reuse across campaigns and markets. Your role will involve partnering with Leads from Creative Content Strategy, Content Strategy, and Therapeutic Areas to understand strategic brand data objectives. Furthermore, you will be expected to generate original, data-focused visual narratives that enhance brand messages or uncover new angles. Collaboration with analytics, insights, or scientific teams to validate and contextualize visuals will also be part of your responsibilities. Organizing data visually through clear categorization, layering, and progressive disclosure is essential, along with ensuring accessibility and brand alignment in all visual outputs. You will need to present ideas and sketches, articulate design logic and data interpretation decisions clearly, and handle feedback loops efficiently to maintain clarity and quality through iterations. Preparing visual deliverables for print, digital, PowerPoint, or interactive formats will also be a key responsibility. Collaboration with medical, digital, marketing, and internal communications teams to define visualization needs is crucial. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in graphic design, communication design, fine arts, information design, information science, data science, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in a data-driven design, information design, or visual storytelling role agency, in-house, healthcare, or editorial preferred. Strong portfolio demonstrating infographics, charts, maps, and data-based narratives. - Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, and other vector or layout tools. Eye for aesthetic quality, clarity, and accessibility. - Skilled in building visual narratives from raw or structured data. Ability to translate complex datasets into digestible and visually impactful experiences. Capable of identifying patterns and narrative arcs from fragmented information. - Experience with interactive visualizations, scroll-based infographics, or PDF storytelling formats. - Fluent in English (written and spoken), with the ability to express complex design thinking clearly. - Preferred: Familiarity with visual storytelling platforms like Flourish, Ceros, Infogram, or no-code web tools is a plus. - Preferred: Basic knowledge of accessibility (contrast, legibility, structure). - Preferred: Experience working with scientific data, behavioral insights, or campaign metrics is a plus, but not required.
