**Role Overview:** As a Manager of Data Engineering / Analytics & Business Analysis in the Program Office/Program Operations Team, you will be responsible for developing data & analytics solutions leveraging vast datasets collected by Operational Applications to support the Technology Division and broader enterprise. Your main challenge will be to design high-performance algorithms, cutting-edge analytical techniques, and user-friendly workflows enabling our users to extract insights from big data for driving their businesses forward. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your knowledge in data engineering, focusing on ETL architecture and data modeling. - Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to deliver clean and accessible data for analysis. - Demonstrate proficiency in performance tuning across databases, ETL jobs, and SQL scripts. - Exhibit skills in enterprise metrics/monitoring using tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Domo, SMSS, and other BI related tools. - Apply a data-driven analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving track record. - Implement Agile methodologies and showcase experience in cross-functional collaboration with teams, stakeholders, and senior management. - Handle triaging, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues to minimize consumer downtime. - Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered. - Guide, mentor, and develop the skillset of junior team members by advising on best practices and solutions to blockers. - Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks and risks associated with continuous data consumption and always-on reporting. - Communicate effectively with excellent written and verbal skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. - Manage multiple competing priorities, organize work streams, and establish clear expectations and deadlines. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Knowledge and experience in data engineering, ETL architecture, and data modeling. - Proficiency in performance tuning, databases, ETL jobs, and SQL scripts. - Familiarity with enterprise metrics/monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, Domo, SMSS, and other BI related tools. - Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven analytical mindset. - Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Ability to mentor and guide junior team members while promoting automation for efficiency. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
