As a Business Analyst I in the Program Office/Program Operations Team, you will be responsible for developing data & analytics solutions that leverage vast datasets collected by Operational Applications to support the Technology Division and the broader enterprise. Your primary challenge will involve creating high-performance algorithms, utilizing cutting-edge analytical techniques, and designing intuitive workflows that enable users to extract valuable insights from big data for their business needs. To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in data engineering, including a solid foundation in ETL architecture and data modeling. Collaboration with data scientists and analysts to deliver clean and accessible data for analysis will be a key aspect of your work. Additionally, you must demonstrate proficiency in performance tuning across databases, ETL jobs, and SQL scripts, along with experience in enterprise metrics/monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Domo, SMSS, and other BI-related tools. A data-driven analytical mindset and a strong problem-solving track record are essential for this position. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, a history of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management, as well as the ability to effectively triage, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to minimize consumer downtime are all valuable skills for this role. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field will be preferred; however, equivalent practical experience will also be taken into consideration. It is crucial to note that all individuals with access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks are entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining information security.
