As a Senior Consultant / Deputy Manager in the field of Data Privacy at our Mumbai location, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining privacy frameworks based on various compliance requirements such as GDPR, IDPR, CCPA, ADHICS, and more. Your responsibilities will include mapping regulatory requirements, conducting Data Privacy Gap Assessments, updating security & privacy policies, and assessing applications, vendors, infrastructure, cloud services, and processes for compliance. You will be expected to provide remediation recommendations, support privacy-related incident management processes, and assist in incident mitigation planning. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing data classification guidelines, creating policies for data classification, and classifying data accordingly. Understanding the business, analyzing the data life cycle, and creating data flow maps will also be part of your role. In addition, you will implement data leakage prevention tools, provide assurance regarding Data Loss Prevention, and assist in monitoring efforts and related investigations. Your contribution in identifying and creating an inventory of sensitive information stored, processed, or transmitted internally will be crucial. To excel in this role, you should possess a B.E/MBA/MCA/MCA/LLB or equivalent degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Prior experience in a professional consultancy firm is preferred, along with certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, CIPP, CDPSE, DPO, CISSP, CISM, or CISA. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, project management abilities, and analytical prowess are essential. Moreover, a sound technical knowledge and willingness to travel within India or abroad are desired qualities.
