Deputy Manager/Manager-C&I (Thermal Power Plant)

A C&I (Control and Instrumentation) Engineer is essential in a thermal power plant to ensure accurate monitoring and control of plant operations. They maintain and calibrate instruments that regulate temperature, pressure, flow, and other critical parameters. Their work ensures safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance.

Instrumentation System Maintenance and Reliability

• Ensure all control and instrumentation systems are functioning correctly.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Minimize unplanned downtime through timely diagnostics and repairs.

2. Project Execution and Commissioning

• Oversee the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of new C&I systems.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications.

3. Process Optimization and Automation

• Improve plant performance by optimizing control loops and automation strategies.
• Implement process improvements through system tuning and data analysis.

4. Compliance, Safety, and Documentation

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for instruments, control systems, and calibration records.

5. Technical Support and Troubleshooting

• Provide real-time support during plant operations, shutdowns, or emergencies.

Diagnose faults in PLCs, DCS, SCADA, transmitters, analyzers, and control valves.

Preferred candidate profile:

1. Knowledge of Siemens DCS SPPA-T 1000/SPPA-T 3000 (Omni wise) with skill set of understanding & building logics, Tag database creation, Tag Building in HMI.

2. Verification of software checks regarding SPPA-T 1000/SPPA-T 3000 (Omni wise) system & shall take immediate action at site regarding any problem of software patches.
